General Information

The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) supports Singapore companies in their growth and transformation, focusing on three key areas: Core Capabilities, Innovation and Productivity, and Market Access. Bluehive Consultants can assist with your application.

The current support level for EDG is at 50%, and for the Enterprise Sustainability Programme, it is at 70% (valid until 31 March 2026)

The elevated support levels (up to 80% or 90%) were implemented during the pandemic to help businesses and have since been revised.

There is currently no official end date for the Enterprise Development Grant.

Enterprise Singapore (ESG) assesses and approves grant applications based on the project’s feasibility and impact.

Generally, startups are not suitable for EDG and are instead supported under the Startup SG programme. Bluehive Consultants can provide guidance on alternative grants.

Application Process

Applications are made via the Business Grants Portal. Bluehive can help streamline your application process.

Common requirements include:

  • Latest financial statements.
  • Project proposal.
  • Quotations for equipment/software.
  • Supporting documents for salary support.

The process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the clarity and completeness of the application.

Yes, multiple applications are allowed if your company has adequate resources to handle them.

No, you do not need to make payments upfront for the consulting project before applying for the EDG grant. However, you must not sign or make any payment to the consulting firm until the grant application is approved by Enterprise Singapore. After approval, you can proceed with the payment as per the project agreement.

For guidance on the proper steps to ensure your application complies with the requirements, reach out to Bluehive Consultants, who can assist you throughout the process.

Once your EDG grant application is approved, you will receive a Letter of Offer from Enterprise Singapore specifying the grant amount and terms. After project completion and full payment, Enterprise Singapore will process your claim, and the grant amount will be reimbursed directly to your business account upon approval.

For assistance in ensuring a smooth claim process and preparing the required documentation, consult Bluehive Consultants, who can guide you every step of the way.
